I am a new member of Bells of the Desert this 2024-25 season. However, it is my second experience with hand bells - I rang for one year when I was pregnant with my daughter, who is now 34. Needless to say, there were many bells cobwebs that needed dusting! I also have two grown sons, and I love traveling to visit them as well as just traveling in general. I am a retired music educator, who has spent most of my career in the Richland School District, teaching elementary general music and choir. I am active in Mid-Columbia Mastersingers and occasionally am invited to direct music for local community theatre groups. I am enjoying the challenge that playing an instrument as part of a team brings, and I’m making more musician friends.
